Esmerelda, the softest dog in the world, is staying with her foster…forever! Esmerelda is an unaffected, natural carrier of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. She and her dog family have been helping researchers develop strategies to treat DMD in young children. Esmie is now busy enjoying her beloved stuffed toys and following Jess everywhere she goes!
