The lovely couple that adopted Bugsy (renamed Muggsy – pictured below on the right) were looking for a pal for their 10 year old dog, Benji, also retired from research. It turns out that Muggsy is Benji’s nephew! A home full of heroes – enjoy each other, boys!
Bugsy (remaned Muggsy), like Capone and Gabby, helped researchers understand, screen and treat a horrific degenerative brain disease inherited by dogs and children. Bugsy joined his new family just before the holidays and is enjoying his time with his new people and their older dog – who turns out to be Bugsy’s uncle! It’s a family affair!
