Pike went to his new home just in time for the holidays! He is an unaffected male from a colony of dogs with a genetic kidney disease carried by dogs and children. Pike is enjoying his new life romping around with the kids, who take him on long walks and to the dog park for extra exercise. His new home has chickens and he seems to find it wildly funny to throw himself against the chicken coop, causing an explosion of squawking and feathers – the chickens are not amused. Pike also has a sweet 10 year old dog companion, Heidi, who is teaching him a thing or two about how to be spoiled endlessly. They get along like they’ve known each other forever…so sweet. Many thanks to the Thompson family for giving our little hero a wonderful, loving home.
