Goober is home! Congratulations to Sarah and “the Goob” on their perfect match. We love this photogenic hero! Hats off (pun intended) to our North Carolina coordinator for getting such a fun photo. (And thanks to our friends at Max & Neo for the celebratory adoption day stuffed toy/hat.)
Below is an update from his adopter, Sarah:
“I never imagined when I first met Goober that he would have such a big impact on my life. I have loved watching him grow into a wonderful pet from being a research animal all of his life. I got to celebrate his 10th birthday and officially adopt him after fostering him for 5 months. These past months he has met new dog friends and human friends too. Everyone he comes in contact with adores him, and how could you not? His great demeanor and loving personality make me love him more everyday. My day is made when I come home to a dog that greets me with a wagging tail and an embrace that almost knocks me over. He’s my little crumb snatcher that loves all kinds of food, especially carrots. I don’t have one ounce of regret from taking the plunge and adopting my animal hero, Goober.”
