Rose adopted Jenny at the beginning of all the COVID closures when Homes for Animal Heroes had 12 Beagle puppies needing homes.
“We had been contemplating a second dog for a few months but had delayed,” Rose said. “In all the craziness of school closures, our friend suggested we meet Jenny and that she would be a good fit with our Pit Bull mix, Ralph. We met her, fell in love, and then had a meet and greet between the two of them. They are as close as ‘peas and carrots.'”
That’s right. Jenny is named after the character from “Forest Gump.”
