Martha was adopted by a lovely family who adopted another cutie, Pike, from Homes for Animal Heroes previously. She is an unaffected female from a colony of dogs being studied for a genetic kidney disease carried by dogs and children. After their oldest pet passed away, they decided to get a new playmate for Pike…and Martha was a shoo-in. She and Pike became fast buddies and are enjoying days filled with chasing balls and snuggling with each other and the rest of the family. We are thrilled for all of you. Enjoy each other!
